PU (polyurethane) is a rigid, closed-cell foam core. For a given thickness it insulates more effectively than EPS, so a thinner panel can achieve the same thermal envelope — useful where internal clear height or wall depth is constrained.

Most often specified for cold rooms, chilled and frozen storage, food processing areas, and clean rooms.
